Three policemen injured while attempting to stop minivan with explosives

Two vehicles with explosives were detained while heading to the Square.  As police reports there were found explosives, gas bombs and other weapons. Investigation is being carried out.

19.20 Nyaklyaeu attacked

At 19.20  ‘Tell the Truth! ‘ activists were leaving campaign’s office to participate in protest action at Ploscha. Suddenly a group of unidentified people in black attacked from behind, presidential candidate Nyaklyaeu was beaten up.

He was carried back to office, ambulance called.

‘Lukashenka has 37% of votes, opposition candidates – 44%’- according to independent exit polls

The exit poll is conducted by Russian Agency for Effective Communication INSIDE.

As Radio Svaboda reports, as of 2:00 pm, Lukashenka has 37.8% of the votes, alternative candidates gathered 42%.

Besides, 12.4% of the respondents refused to take part in the exit poll, 6.2% voted against all candidates.
